Abstract:

In this talk, I will talk about the multiphysics finite element methods for  thermo-poroelasticity  models. To reveal the multi-physical processes and to be helpful to propose stable numerical methods, I will introduce the multiphysics approach. Then, fully discrete finite element methods based on the multiphysics approach are proposed to overcome locking phenomenon for displacement, pressure and temperature.  The stability analysis of the above proposed method and the optimal convergence order estimate are given, and some numerical examples are shown to verify the theoretical results.
