Abstract:

Biondini et al. (2016, Commun. Math. Phys., 348: 475-533) pointed out that the complete inverse scattering transform theory for the multi-component focusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation with non-vanishing boundary conditions remains an open problem. In this talk, we aim to address this gap by investigating the aforementioned problem under a specific class of non-vanishing boundary conditions.
