Abstract:

The inverse scattering transform theory for the defocusing N-component nonlinear Schrödinger equation with non-vanishing boundary conditions was previously unresolved for the case of N>3. In this talk, we extend the scope to N≥2 and perform systematic inverse scattering analysis on the defocusing NLSE under a special class of non-vanishing boundary conditions.
