We study secret sharing on random geometric graphs. For existing constructions, the information rate lower bound commonly decreases as the maximum node degree increases. To achieve a constant information rate, we propose a shifted geometric decomposition (SGD) method including square, triangular, and hexagonal grid decompositions. We further incorporate rotation to the method which is proved to achieve a higher information rate for the square case. The SGD method can only give approximate result due to the loss of edges. The tradeoff between the information rate and the edge survival rate is characterized.

报告人简介：郭涛，东南大学网络空间安全学院副教授。分别于2013年、2018年获西安电子科技大学学士学位、香港中文大学博士学位。曾在慕尼黑工业大学、德州农工大学、加州大学洛杉矶分校、华为香港研究所从事研究工作。研究兴趣主要是信息论、信息安全与隐私保护相关领域，在IEEE TIT，TIFS等信息论顶级期刊、会议上发表论文50余篇。曾获得江苏省网络空间安全学会青年科技奖、中国电子学会信息论分会学术激励计划“信息论青年学者”、江苏省双创博士、小米青年学者等，以及国家自然科学基金、教育部海外引才专项、东南大学至善基金（A类）等基金支持。
